    Bob, did you happen to catch my preview videos this evening or what? I've got a 1949 Lunceford ghost band 78 from 1949 on Manor 1111 set to post sometime this weekend myself! In fact, it has 2 tunes recorded RIGHT after this one (mtx #'s 1577 & 1578!).

    Gonna have to change my post order. ;)

  • This was after Jimmy's untimely death in July 1947; the band tried to stay together, under the direction of pianist Eddie Wilcox and sax player Joe Thomas, but shortly after this was recorded, it disbanded for good.
