Disneyland Secrets: Adventureland

(Hey people, I'm re-uploading all the videos into HD)

Note: Some of these secrets may be out-dated, and if you absolutely know one is not true, please tell me! Also, the photos and music aren't mine. (audio from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqoibEsn1L0&feature=related) I got the photos off of google, deviantart, and flickr and I thank those who kindly put these photos up for the world to see.

There use to be an exact replica of Jose (tiki room parrot) on top of the Advetureland sign. This parrot would crack jokes as people entered. -This is a photo of Jose in the Tiki Room- Many people would stop to listen to him, but sadly it got so bad they had to remove him. It is said he was moved to either the Tiki Room or Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

The Indiana Jones Adventure, Temple of the Forbidden Eye has about 220,000 snakes (sculpted or mechanical). Also, there is supposed to be 1,995 skeletons to honor the date the ride opened (march 3, 1995).

If you walk the entire queue (without fast pass), it's about 1/2 a mile.

This truck is the same one from the movie 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' during the desert chase scene and can be found over by the Indiana Jones ride.

In the film room on the right side of the room on the wall, there is a silhouette of Indy just before you leave and go towards Indy's office.

There is/was a skeleton in the skeleton room wearing Mickey Mouse ears and a Mickey watch. He is/was known as Bones, and the name is embroidered on the Mickey Mouse hat.

Skippers on the Jungle Cruise didn't originally tell jokes. Only after Walt overheard some people saying they could skip the attraction since they had seen it before, that he realized the attraction needed something that could be refreshed and new each time, hence the jokes.

The "Swisska-Polka" that used to play when the attraction was the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse can still be heard today in Tarzan's Treehouse.

In the room where Jane is drawing Tarzan, there is a table with some books on it directly to your left as you enter the room. The book on top is 'The Swiss Family Robinson', which is what the Treehouse was based on.

@TheThatgirl3 So many people simply stood around/under the entrance sign for adventureland listening to the bird that people couldn't get through. Silly, but sad that he couldnt remain. :)

i got stuck on the Indiana Jones Adventure, Temple of the Forbidden Eye ride and we had to walk through it so the worker showed us the skeleton with the mickey hat :) it was fun

I was riding this ride back in march when it broke down, right before you enter the snake room. We were stuck for about a good 15 mins. So to kill time I tried killing all the snakes. Couldn't do it.

origonally on the big thunder ride, but broke off, so as a joke they re-attached him into his current home. :) i <3 Gorge. - in the room with all the holes and minerals, (befor the the room with spikes and the bamboo) in one of the deep hole tword the top of the room, near the middle of the whole room, there is a hidden bat. (I've named it Gorge), he is only visable in light because of the darkness of the room and the little cave he is in. Me and my sister walked the whole room with a flash cammera and took flash pictures in each hole untill we found him, so yes, i do have pictures of him. He was - continued (sorry)

this was good but there are TWO more secret you forgot about!! 1. There is a hidden sign in the line for indeana jones in the film room, (not the micky), it is behind the projecter and it is a picture of Eor (donky for winnie the pooh), i dont no how to spell his name, you can only see him from the exit of the film room due to how far back he is. At first his body may look like a gray lunch box, but thats him!! 2. When you are walking in the line of Indy, -contiuned on another comment (sorry)
