Valle Justo

A poor man finally gets the scale tipped in his favour when God and the Devil show up wanting a piece.

Valle Justo is a re-imagining of the "Third Guest" or "Macario" story, told by efrain gomez for a final project as a student at CSU Monterey Bay in Seaside, CA.

NOTE:
When I was very young, my father told me a 'joke' about fairness one day about a man who wanted to eat a whole chicken by himself, and is visited by God, the Devil, and Death. I based this movie on that joke.

Later, I found out that the joke may have been based on the story by Bruno Traven, "The Third Guest", which was made into the Mexican film, "Macario" in 1960.

What a great message from God. You have put a face on GOD. You have even made the Devil look Human, which I am not quiet sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing for the Human Race. The Face of Death was so beautiful which I think makes it all that more scarer. Instead of making Death so scaring which makes you want to run, why would death want that. They would want you to come to them so it will be over sooner then later so they can move on to the next soul.

I love how you made a comment on race, religion, and politics. The was great how you broke down the color wall and included so many minority actors. It was very poignent on how you have a poor mexican stealing from a poor white farmer. More filmmakers should take a page from you. Spielberg sit up and take notice. Here is a guy who will stand up. Here is a guy will not take it anymore. He makes bold statement about race, religion, politics. BRAVO MR. GOMEZ! Lets see Hollywood embrace you
