It's been awhile since I've made an amv... So here's an amv as a celebration of me starting to make amvs again xD MERRY CHRISTMAS!

For anyone wondering how I got the glass shattering effect, here is the link to get it.

To do what I just did in my video. this is what you do. Once you get the effect, place it on a timeline. Now you choose a scene you want to shatter. The scene you wish to shatter will go directly above the glass shattering video. Once you do that, look over to the left and change the compositing mode from SOURCE ALPHA to SCREEN (Make sure you change the compositing mode on the timeline with the anime scene on it. You might also want to experiment with the other compositing modes cause the scene you choose to shatter might not fit the selection SCREEN).Render what you just did.Place what you just rendered on the timeline and below it you will place the scene you want to show after the glass has been shattered. Use the CHROMA KEY effect on the newly rendered shatter video and change the color to black.
Play around with the LOW/HIGH THRESHOLD to your liking... and that is how you do what I did on this video. Hope this helps =) Feel free to ask any other questions or ask me again if you didnt understand and I'll try to clarify it better.

I promised a friend like.. 5 months ago I'd make a birthday amv for them xD I'm stopping all of my current amvs to spend my time working on the birthday amv. I would like it if a lot of you guys would say Happy Birthday to that person, like a party xD The video will be posted on February 2nd. That 's my friend's birthday! =D xD The new video will obviously say whose birthday it is =D All of your help will be greatly appreciated =D I want this to be the greatest birthday amv EVER!O_O Thank you =)
