The Hunger Games Cast

I decided i would try out making my own version of my opinion casting of the book The Hunger Games. i thought i never would because i would always judge others but i loved the book and i gave it a shot. I strongly believe that a Canadian girl should be Katniss and I also strongly believe that Hugh Laurie should play the role of Haymitch. In my head, as i read the book, it was very hard for me to picture any known actors as any character in the story but as i saw peoples videos on their opinions i started seeing likenesses between the characters and the actors chosen. So when i started reading the second book i thought that Sean Connery would play the perfect Haymitch but he's retired and too old to act now. Hugh Laurie is my #1 pick, although Robert would also play a strong Haymitch.

I'm still uncertain about Peeta, Jeremy Sumpter seemed like a strong candidate for the role, but perhaps someone taller and with more profound features would suit him better. I've always pictured Peeta to be tall and skinny, but not too skinny, still with a bit of muscle, and of course with interesting but still beautiful facial features, someone that everyone who looks at him would look twice at for noticing beauty.

I've always seen Gale as the tall, dark and handsome but also very brooding. i believe kevin zegers to be a little too pretty but he was the only man i found to suit Gale respectively otherwise. Also, Gale should have strong facial features but better looking than Peeta.

Olivia Wilde is also too pretty but if she were to play the tragic role as Mrs. Everdeen i would assume they would put no makeup on her. i've always seen Mrs. Everdeen to be a very pretty woman (in a plain sort of way) who needed no makeup. As goes for Katniss and her sister. the kind of beauty that is plain but so beautiful they don't need any makeup but once make up is put on they exude beauty.

As for the visual effects comment. i believe this book should respectfully be made for the amazing beauty of the capital and therefore i believe that the amazing artists who created Benjamin Button should use they're talent on this project. But, i expect nothing from this, i know i can't control the movie lol.

I look for talent as well as looks. hopefully you agree with my choices if not all, than some. feel free for any comments. i care not about crude comments, they don't sway me. Thanks for watching i worked hard on this video.

And obviously i do not own anything except for the computer and program that i made it on.

That is exactly how I pictured Haymitch. Can you believe the director is actually considering Daniel Radcliff for Peeta, though!!!

@newHoppin8 i actually think that's a good idea, i never thought about daniel radcliff as peeta. it's an interesting idea, he'd do well as peeta. all they have to do is change his hair :D interesting haha. where did you see that? there hasn't been much details about the movie for a long time so i havent been looking for any new news lately.

it would've been awesome if they hired this cast(for the movie that they plan to make) it sucks that they didn't...i really don't like who they chose for Cinna and Katniss(for the movie not this video)
