He doesn't seem old enough for solids based on the knowledge we now have. He looks no older than 3 months, maybe 4 at most, judging from the way he moves, meaning anything other than breastmilk or formula has a risk of leading to allergies. But again, this is the guideline today. I was raised in the early 80s and got solids including orange juice and gluten when I was younger than 3 months, and I don't have one single allergy. My guess? The parents usually know what they are doing.

@babimegan17 What are you talking about, EVERY SINGLE BABY who has ever started using solids has gotten it all over there face, its called learning, seesh i can tell you don't have kids, or that your the time of mom to breastfeed until the kid is old enough to understand what a 'Tit' is.
