Women's Sports Boring?! Do You Watch?

In the midst of UCONN destroying the competition in the Women's NCAA basketball tournament it made me think, does anyone really watch Women's sports here in the United States?

I sure do. I watch WNBA way more than NBA. I watch women's NCAA hoops but not as much as men's. I'm a big fan of both men's and women's soccer at both pro and college level. Same goes for NCAA volleyball, ice hockey and baseball/softball, Olympics and pro tennis. Only sports where I refuse to watch women are boxing and MMA, and that's because the sports themselves creep me out, although, very rarely, I will watch men compete.

There is no way to put it with out sounding sexist.

The difference is that, Men get better results than women in running "PROFESSIONALLY", because men have more testosterone, and that's the physical hormone. And if you compare the world records men are in front for 0.7 seconds and that is roughly 7-8 metres. In the end i and most men would rather watch a extreme performance rather than a good performance.

What makes women's sports so boring in comparison to men's sports? We are equally, if not more dedicated to our sports and deserve the recognition we work for. I'm a Division 1 track runner in college and I work my butt off. I work harder than a lot of men. What is the difference between watching a man run track and a woman run track? A woman is just as aggressive and just as sweaty. There is nothing boring about it. Why do women have to be wearing skimpy clothing to exist in the world?

i agree with pdx, i'm a girl and i dedicated hours of my day to working on my game, but i'm still not taken seriously because "i'm a woman and women make sammiches", even though i beat a lot of the guys in the gym that i play. the people who are saying that women suck at sports don't even watch women's sports enough to judge them, and they're just echoing what others say so that they can sound cool.
