@Scorpac Yes... the W54 nuke weighed 54 lbs and had a yield of 20 tons TNT equivalent. However, 1 ton of dynamite has a yield of 1.6 tons TNT equivalent. The Tunguska event (airburst meteoroid) yield was ~15 megatons but only weighed a few tons, and wasn't even explosive. You don't nuclear to achieve a yield in TNT equivalence that exceeds the weight of a device. Wikipedia "operation sailor hat" for an image of a 450 ton conventional yield, note the difference in magnitude to this video.

@lollazers and im talking of the actual weight.
-
@lollazers okay, i thought if you drop a 1 ton nuke, compared to a 1 ton TNT bomb, the Nuke would make a bigger boom....
-
@Scorpac No. Nuclear/chemical explosions are directly comparable aside from radiological effects. This was specifically studied in the Manhattan Project -- they did a 1 kiloton test shot of TNT for yield modeling. The entire point of TNT equivalence is to directly compare yields. And yes, large enough chemical explosions create mushroom clouds, too. A point of contention in arms development today is ICBMs with conventional warheads, whose effects are amplified by re-entry velocity.

@lollazers you answered your own question dude, of couse a 20ton NUCLEAR warhead makes a bigger boom then just 186 tons of TNT
-
Impressive, but not 186 tons of TNT equivalent. Search for M388 Davy Crockett / Little Feller test videos, of a 20 ton W54 nuclear warhead at a range of 2.8km; it's a significantly larger explosion. There's no ground reflection on this one, which is something you'd definitely see at 186 tons.

So, do engineers set up that big of a blast? Or do EODs get some of that?

@Veliuszero1 The Canadians are a lot better trained than Iraqis O.o

my husbands job is in the ammo section and he's in charge of ammo blows like this. these type of explosions are well away from any civilians and are very strictly monitored. so stfu if u dont know what ur talking about. u should support or atleast have some respect for people who fight/die for ur freedom to be an ignorant asshole.
look s like my ass after a night of white castle

They were destroying captured ordinance such as IEDs and ammunition. I doubt any civilians live within a few miles from where this explosion took place.
Please, show some respect for those risking their lives to defend the U.S.A.
