I will just remind his positions on the 2 Iraq wars, Iraq's weapons of mass destruction (he maintained that Saddam had them!!), and Saddam's link to al-Qaeda (Zarqawi being a friend of Saddam's!). Hitchens built a career on being a vitriolic contrarian. that's fine. Waging wars and being an apologist for Bush's policy is criminal; this might be amusing to you, not me. I lost about 90% of the respect I had for Galloway after he attacked Ron Paul using the most frivolous of points - the same used by the US media, the racist comments someone else wrote for his newsletter. Galloway defends himself from cheap smears and insinuations about things like Saddam and terror supporting, but he used a cheap attack on Paul instead of siding with him against the govt hawks. George betrayed many anti-war, anti-govt people by doing that, and will reap his karma.
