  • and given that, how is this "injury" "felt" on the other side? On the other side of the brain? What does the brain "feel?"

  • Great lecture.  I have a question about the clinical correlation: when you talk about how injury in the spinal cord is seen ipsilaterally (Dorsal Column) and contralaterally (Anterolateral Sys), I don't understand how to interpret that from the drawings. Seems that both systems cross the mid line so would reach the cerebral cortex on the other side. Also, what is the definition of "injury" as used in this context? (I was taking it to mean that the afferent neuron was not functional.)
