  • God damn there's only good tutorials on how to fix stuff on an IPHONE but not on I touch

  • Do you have to solder the microphone? I dont think I see them soldering the mic

  • @mkoo33 yes, for iphone 2g, the charge center and the home button are in the same flex

  • This is not a home button replacement/fix this is entire flex cable replacement. My home button is working but not as it should be. Do i have to change the entire flex for that ?

  • @hellfire05 soldering iron or solderer

    pronounced: saw-der

  • And finally I fixed my iPhone home button.

    Thanks

  • what is the thing called when he used the metal thing to heat the cable at 3:29 ?

  • you have to take the whole thing apart reaallly

  • @spacec0w2 i have the same condition, did you get your phone to work?

  • I've done this and at least the home button and speaker work correctly. However, iTunes does not recognize the iPhone and it does not charge. However, the iPhone will turn on when I plug it in. I have checked my work and it looks at least ok. The soldering was hard and i may have burnt the chip just below the cable to the speaker (L6). Might this be the problem?
