  • Great idea for a series. Thanks

  • @arbshaw73 You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it. Series for sure, stay tuned for more.

  • excellent video!!! keep doing the great work!!!!

  • @TheMightyFrog Thanks brother!

  • Great video! Would you agree that kipping has it's place in a all over pull up routine to help build the fast twitch muscle fiber? Just like negatives can help build and improve the pull up, so could kipping, correct?

    Keep up the great work!

  • @thedoobie1 The jury is still out on using kipping to build fast twitch muscle fiber. It has its place, but is no substitute for the true pull-up. For instance, some of the same movement is used in the muscle-up which we'll be getting into as well, but that is a smaller kipping movement vs. the full on kipping pull-up. Thanks for the comment and question!

  • There should be more videos like this!

    EXTREMELY useful!

  • Love this will be using it everytime I camp with my boy scout troop. Thank you.

  • Kipping is not allowed in military pull ups. You can do a 1,000 pull ups that way and they won't count a single one. Just figured I'd throw in my two cents. The Rangers look for close to 15 or 20 "dead hang" pull ups. Pretty brutal stuff.

    Thanks for the vid guys.

  • That was something that i was looking for. Thnks man

I have one query, you must tell or demonstrate which parts of body are affected by pullups and how bar can be hold differently.

  • Good Vid! Any suggested exercises for a torn rotator cuff? I dislocated my arm a few times and have lost the ability to simply hang from it. Thanks

  • Mike Posner!?!? lol

  • (Planning on enlisting after graduating highschool next year, and going to BUD/S) I'd like to know what some specific stats to shoot for as far as pushups, situps, pullups, dips, and run / swim times before going to BUD/S would be, if that's not too much to ask? Additionally, should I train more with or without fins on long swims?
