  • windsorcityblog, are you for real?

About ten people read your blog so now you are reaching out on YouTube?

You don't live in Michigan, why do you care about MDOT so much?

How much is Moroun paying you?

Why don't you "whistle-blow" on Moroun for all of his block busting and community ruining tactics?

Why hasn't Moroun built a second bridge of his own? Oh, wait, because he can't, because Canada won't let him, and if he really wanted to build a second bridge he would have done it years ago.

  • Are these people for real?

Setting aside $100M for DRIC means that MDOT does NOT have the $84M needed for 243 LOCAL bridge and road projects in Michigan which ahve already been postponed.. That means according to MDOT the loss of about 10,000 jobs annually for several years.

Oh, and MDOT itself called the NY/Michigan border competition a myth!

  • Let's build it. Michigan needs as much help as it can get to remain competitive in trade and commerce.

  • Brooks is right. Let's build this bridge before we start losing jobs to New York. Buffalo has four bridges to Canada and is looking to build a fifth. We can't afford to lose our Michigan advantage.
