Ti calls himself the king of the south but all he does he rap, he does nothing to take responsibility of the south.....when pimp was alive he spoke for the south, ti doesnt do that shit....he can be king of georgia but not the south.

Let me add society of soul to that list, arrested development, anyone from the dungeon family click, boy ya'll just don't know or just dont relate...the south aint just all soulja boy and all that other bull....for one thing we talk about stuff we relate to so our music might suck to ya'll since ya'll can't relate....if we talked about the same shit ya'll up north cats talk about, ya'll would just call us followers and to come up w/ our own style....so respect it

kanye dont even have a southern swagger to him he put on for the midwest, and he born in atlanta

it ain't bout where you from, its where you grew up at!!!

I hate how when people from other regions hate on the south they always bring up the bubblegum mainstream bullshit rappers(more like popstars) like Mike Jones and Soulja Boy, but are to ignorant to realize that there is actually a lot of lyrical geniuses who rap with substance about real life situations not just diamonds and cars, any true hip-hop fan down here knows that.
Here'a a list of what I ride to.....
UGK
Z-Ro
Trae
Scarface
Twisted Black
Immortal Soldierz
S.P.M
Smooth Vega

WTF u talkin bout bitch, y doesnt he support them cuz they real hip-hop bitch as long as ur in the hood ur experiencing it fucking moron. Its goin down in tha south bitch.
nobody slept on outkast goodie mob scarface etc I like the old south better then the new south same for the east old stuff but the south's run might be like the west coasts run once the labels are done making money they will say fuck you and move on the west had a run from 88 to 96 look how much west coast acts was on def jam 93 to 97 so labels always ride whats hot but they mostly push the wack rapper instead of the good artist.
