BILL NUMBER: AB 750 VETOED DATE: 09/26/2011
To the Members of the California State Assembly:
I am returning Assembly Bill 750 without my signature.
This bill would mandate yet another "blue ribbon" task force: in this
case to examine whether California should establish a state bank.
This is a matter well within the jurisdiction and competence of the
Assembly and Senate Banking Committees.
Rather than creating a new entity, let's use the resources we have.
Sincerely,
Edmund G. Brown Jr.

Best video I've seen this week. I'll pass it on.

Right on LL Bean!

I always thought taking on the money mafia in new york and their federal reserve was too ambitious. Setting up public banks, state by state, is much more realistic.

Hello Bill! He's an idea on how to pay off our bank loans. Let's "FRACTION RESERVE" PAY our loans!!!

I love your work, Bill!

Thank you so much for the "Money Masters" video!!!
Did the Governor sign the bill or not?

@Nanya - no, he did not. He let it die saying he was sending it back to the legislature to implement without studying it. It's just a buck-passing exercise.
