This is the first Serge modular demo on youtube that I actually LOVE the sound of it!
Probably the Rolls Royce of synthesizers.

@kkonkkrete I can't really find much info about serge modulars, where can you buy them? Do they even make new ones?
-
@Musiccalculater sound transform systems, they do not have a website but you can call Rex Probe on 262 367 3030 who will be happy to speak to you for hours on end about serge synths!

Whoa, I definitely need this monster! Why does the exact musical gadget I am looking for have to cost so much? Sometimes reality sucks. Nevertheless, I remain a huge fan of both this synthesizer and reality. Hopefully, I can get one at some point.
Hey, got my Creature/Seq A combo...I got the sequencer cycling, but without any pitch produced...any suggestions regarding a few seq to creature patches so that I can hear the pitch produced by the 8-16 knobs...John

@potterpaint2000 Congratulations! Patch the SEQ A out to the V/OCT in on the TGO. Then take the red output on the left side of the TGO straight to the XFade, with the gain turned up. Tune the frequency of the TGO with the knob to reach audible range. You should hear the pitch sequence coming out of the Xfade. It doesn't get much simpler than that :-)

@potterpaint2000 Sweet! Congratulations, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Why not stop by the Quadslope forum and say hello, if you haven't already. They are a great community of Mad-as-Hatters Serge enthusiasts. :-)

How long was the wait time to get these great units built?; are they still a source of sonic surprize?
potterpaint2000 1 year ago
@potterpaint2000 Size is about 17" wide by 4U high. They come in different cases. This is the shallower 'transit' case. Wait time is variable: anything from a day to a couple of months depending on what Rex has in stock. I suggest you just call Rex. He's a blast to talk to and can answer all your questions and then some.
