  • Probably his tightest band ever-amazing Where'd you get this footage? Michael Fonfara, Chuck Hammer, Ellard Boles, Michael Suchorsky, Stuart Heinrich- and of coure uncle Lou- what a version- When did he start connecting the Supremes version of Hanging on- to Velvets Rock and Roll? Hey man Lou has always been into Motown- Unbelievable - WHy can't they release the HD version from RAI? I saw these guys play in Paris- Perhaps the single most amazing concert - Needles being thrown on stage-
  • in 1980 Lou did youkeepmehangin'on, and later Smokey Robinson's 'tracks of my tears' and Bo Diddley's 'who do you love' and probably some mora right here on the flora

  • Wow, dude I am touched. Perhaps you should write to Lou and tell him. He saved mine too. He gave me something to identify with. Lou and David Bowie. Hats off to em both.

  • i even met Lou once in Cahors/France in 1999, at his press conference at the opening of Lou's (i think his first) photo-exhibition, after the press conference he walked into the building and i followed him and then suddenly he turned around and we were in arms !

and we shook hands and i thanked for all the beautiful music and words he made and makes, i told him i recorded his 1998 Barcelona free concert>>>>>>>>>

  • and he thanked me for taping it, and shook my hand again, "can i have a copy" he said, sure and he told his assistent (then Beth Groupert) to hand me the SisterrayProductions address so i could send him a copy, I asked him if there was the video coming of him and Wilson at Hamburg, but no, sorry there is no video he said, we waved goodbye......

  • while write this down i still can feel his square solid hand in mine, the New York (liason with) Holland feeling: Rock On !! Lou Reed has very warm hands though.

  • Lou at the Peak: Fiorence IT.

    Outdoors 80,000 in the Park-

one of the most emotional versions - of his classic.

A wall of massive sonic attack-

rendered upon beautifully insane Italian summer scene.

Ellard Boles- Bass; Chuck Hammer- Guitar Synth, Stuart Heinrich -Tele Michael Fonfara -Kbds, and Lou- PlexiGtr ripping the renaissance apart.

  • Splendida versione.

  • one of the best songs ever

  • Something like 80,000 Italians in atttendence. Absolutely insane concert.

Think it was a Plexi glass custom made on 48th St for Lou, a Roland GR Synth Guitar for Chuck Hammer, and a Telecaster for Stuart Heinrich.

    A Tele for Stuart Heinrich

  • Some amazing dirty guitar playing-sounds like a berlin air raid

What kind of guitar is that?
