@magssorensen My view exactly until I saw Herzog's Cave of Dorgotten Dreams where it was demonstrated that the cave is so fragile, so delicate that to open it for public viewing even of the most limited kind would be to destroy it. The film done in 3D is so beautiful that the sacrifice of not seeing the real cave is almost made up for by the knowledge that it will survive as it has done for another 30,000 years.
