THE STORY - Joe Holmes is a hapless idiot drafted into the Vietnam War, bearing the curse of death his family has endured in every major American conflict since the Revolution. Follow his exploits and idiocy has he tries to navigate the perilous world of short-timers, Viet Cong, crazy Colonels, inept Lieutenants, angry fellow soldiers and his own mental deficiency.
IN THIS EPISODE: Holmes, Sr starts to tell the story of his time in "the 'Nam" to his son, serving in Iraq in 2003.

Is the guy in the club that gives the main character acid supposed to be Hunter Thompson from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Plus that reporter's voice at the beginning sounds so much like Jeff Bridges's voice.

Stop motion is difficult with these tall, clumsy and top heavy joes. Making them walk or run is ever tougher. I have animated many subjects and these require the most skill.
