Democracy was flushed down the toilet by Mike Bloomberg and gang so today when a guy running for City Council told me I could change parties this week and vote in the primary I ran down to NY State Board of elections to change parties. I found out being a metro sexual oops a metro-political like Mike Bloomberg is not as easy as it seems unless maybe you are a mega billionaire!


I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW IT WAS NOT A CONFLICT OF INTEREST MANY TIMES OVER FOR CITY COUNCIL TO VOTE THEMSELVES A RAISE BUT IT APPEARS MORE HEINOUS AND A GREATER ASSAULT ON DEMOCRACY THAN EVER IF IN FACT MIKE BLOOMBERG, CHRISTINE QUINN AND CITY COUNCIL KNEW CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS WERE BEING INVESTIGATED FOR CORRUPTION AND DID NOT SPEAK UP THAN AND THERE SAYING WE MUST HAVE A REFERENDUM BECAUSE OF THIS INVESTIGATION IT WOULD NOT BE APPROPRIATE FOR CITY COUNCIL TO VOTE.

BECAUSE ONE CITY COUNCIL MEMBER HAS PLEADED GUILTY AND TWO CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS STAFF MEMBERS PLEADED GUILTY AND THEY ALL WERE INVOLVED IN CAMPS THAT VOTED TO EXTEND TERM LIMITS THE PLUS THE FACT THE INVESTIGATION IS STILL ON GOING -- TERM LIMITS VOTES ARE TAINTED AND MUST BE TOSSED.

DEMOCRACY IS IN A SHAMBLES AND TODAY I FELT LIKE I WAS IN COMMUNIST RUSSIA NOT NYC, USA.

In these days of technology, it should'nt take no more 5 minutes to change parties, let alone register to vote. People should be allowed to change their political parties any day they feel like...except the day of an election (my opinion). And just to see how are money is wasted, why did the gentleman call a LAWYER to explain a rule he should know on his own?

Apparently, Gloomberg can grease palms to buy an illegal run for a 3rd term (defying a TWICE voted on referendum that said NO to 3rd terms) but you as a private citizen with no special interests to cater to can't change your party without restriction. As Gloomberg's bosses, we need to fire this palm greaser and his crooked cronies or we will pay dearly. Suzannah I wish you'd run. You'd definitely have my vote. 8)
