one little mistake. never use arcane barrage with 4 stacks if you missiles are fast. only use barrage if you misseles aren´t fast with 4 stacks ofc :D

That's not a mistake, that's how you should play.

Doing what you're saying, which is just fishing for MB procs by spamming AB, will run you out of mana.

Clearing a stack with "non-fast" missiles (i.e. no MBarr proc) after a bit of proc fishing (I usually try 1-2 more AB's depending on my mana) is better than clearing it with ABarr.

continueing from my last comment,then reason i said you do basicly constant damage is because lets say you do the arcaneblast x3 and then arcane barrage,after that you have to wait for that 1sec cd to recharge before doing the missiles,but if you do it my way the arcaneblast and then just missles by the time the missle spell is done castin you can aready get ready to click and begin arcaneblast over for the stack,you wanna keep your damage going as arcane not to stop and wait for a cd

haha well funny thing is for me and my mage i do a crap load of damage....then is what i do i do arcane blast till missle proc and it usually does it ever 2-3 arcane blast cast and then i do missles and then repeat...ppl really dont use the arcane barrage spell unless boss is close to diein and they wanna get a fast spell off..but my way i think you get more dps if you time the arcane blast castin right after the missle cast....cause your doing basicly constant damage...

Oh and in FoTL patch which is now, it is always 4x AB then missiles or whatever because mana shouldnt be a problem . ever.
