Whisper Massage

me ATTEMPTING to give you a virtual whispering massage.. very experimental so i apologize if it's annoying more than relaxing lol Also, there's a random sound that my computer is making in the background and i tried to edit it out but i cant so i hope it doesnt mask the effectiveness of this vid. anyway enjoy!!

What kind of mic are you using? I've made a few whisper videos myself (that I have yet to upload) using my headset and there is next to no background noise:) Good video btw

@H3ADPHON3S i recorded this forever ago so I was using the built in mic on my mac, but all of my later videos have been recorded on my digital voice recorder that I used for my broadcast major in college. but as I've always said, I dont mind background noise, it's part of the natural ambience.. it sounds fake and like it's in a vacuum when there's absolutely no background.

ok. i've turned my mics all the way up. i know im not the only one having trouble hearing this. is this suppost to be this faint on purpose to make it more relaxing? are there actually words being said or is it just relaxing sounds?

@Brettwbeyer14 I think some people have had issues hearing it, but the majority of folks can hear it just fine. It's actually recorded in the same program and same level as all of my other videos, so im not sure what the issue is.

I'm probably a little older than most of your listeners but I work a lot of hours and have problems falling asleep and your videos calm me down and i seem to sleep better thank you

the problem with whispering so quietly is the signal-to-noise ratio. you have to jack up the volume to hear your voice, and that in turn raises the noise level.

To those saying it's the mic's feedback, it's 'not' the mic that's doing it. That's the interference from the power supply in the system. Using a USB mic can solve that relatively easily. If it were the mic's feedback, depending on the severity of it, there could be an endless echo of vocal recording.

I enjoyed this whisper. It was just enough feedback that I didn't really understand what was said but could tell there was speaking. Maybe I'm weird but I prefer it that way.
