Despare not my hard/outlaw country fans look beyond what Nashville offer you. Look at your local and regional bands. And follow those nationally known country artists who are blacklisted from Nashville for their sound or politics. Find your own muiscal way like the independent and self-reliant Americans I know you to be.

Used to be a live country music show I beleive on ABC called "On the Road".
This song was the theme song.
Used to be one of the few ways to see live music when we lived in the boonies with no cable or access to CMT!

Man, does this song bring back great memories! I was singing this song at karaoke one night, and little did I know Lee Roy himself was in the crowd. He bought me a round afterwards. Hell of a human being as well as a great country artist!
