Ryan Moats-- a running back for the Houston Texans, never got to say goodbye to his dying mother-in-law because of a texas officer who "used his own jurisdiction."
ryan moats just had a amazing game last week...hopefully he continues to be great...i bet if he was a big star they would of done something to that officer .... sad story to hear about not being able to see a family member b4 she passes especially when ur right outside
To everyone who is not from Texas this is soooooo surprising. To those of us who are from here, Dallas specifically, thats exactly how they act. Actually this officer didn't even compare to the retarded shit i've seen em do!
I think the Police officer was probably racist at the start but most certainly lost his temper and calusly dragged his feet in dealing with Moats and the issuing of the ticket. That might explain why he ignored the nurse and the other officer; he just didnt want to back down.
Whodoyouthinkiis2003, clearly you have no sense of empathy what so ever until something like this happens to you and it's sad.
How about you had a loved one dying and you wanted to say your goodbyes but you have a jerk cop witholding you and treating you badly would that be nice if that happened to you?
that cock sucka shouldn't ever be allowed to wear a badge again.

I share your outrage at this.

Shame on him.

I couldn't agree with you more

One: if this is THE most disgusting story "you've ever read in your entire life", you REALLY pay more attention to the news.
Two: the police have NO LEGAL OBLIGATION TO PROTECT YOU. This whole "To Serve and Protect" crap is a fallacy. Don't be so naive.
Now, having said that, I agree that this unprofessional ass should be fired once this "internal investigation" is over.
And please say a prayer for the good cops whose safety is now at a greater risk because of the actions of this idiot.
