One Man Show Episode 3

LaiIa: "Well, I heard her tell someone that she likes Joe and she is jealous of Kayla."
Sarah: "Really? Heidi and Kayla are best friends."
Laila: "Well, I guess not for long."
Kevin: "Are you sure you heard that? I just don't believe it."
Laila: "Yup, why do you think she went with them upstairs, she wants to spend as much time with them as she can so she can try to break them up."
*Sarah, Joanne, and Starla all look at each other, they all think she is lying.*
Kevin: "Well maybe I should go talk to her about it. If it is true, I want to help her before she does anything horrible."
Joanne: "Kevin, I don't think you have to worry about that because, I think that Laila is lying."
Laila: "Whatever believe what you want but that's what I heard." *She looks at Joanne with a suspicious look on her face. Kevin goes upstairs to find Heidi and talk to her*
Nick: "Laila, did you really hear that or are you making it up?"
Laila: "Why, would I lie about something like that, she is my friend?”
Nick: "I don't know, maybe it's because you want attention, like you always do."
Sarah: "Yeah, I agree with Nick."
Laila: "Hey, I don't ask for attention, people just always give it to me. Nick, you know what that's like." *She looks at Nick*
*Mean while Kevin goes upstairs and find Joe, Kayla, and Heidi all trying to figure out what Joe will wear.*
Kayla: "No Joe, I like the red pants better than the white."
Heidi: "Yeah, me too."
Joe: "Okay fine, that's what I will wear. Oh hey Kevin, do you think I look fly in this outfit."
Kevin: "Oh Yeah Joe, you look fresh."
Joe: "Cool, then I'm done here. Are you and Nick ready to go yet, Kevin?"
Kevin: "Um, Yeah we are ready. I just have to get something; I will meet you guys down stairs."
Kayla: Alright, come on Joe; let's go show Nick your fabulous outfit." *Joe and Kayla leave the room.*
Kevin: "Hey Heidi can I talk to you for a minute?"
Heidi: "Um. Yeah, sure."
Kevin: "I was wondering if anything was bothering you because downstairs you seemed a little up tight."
Heidi: "No, I'm fine. It's just that Nick always annoys the crap out of me and I get aggravated with him."
Kevin: "Are you sure because Laila told me something else was bothering you?"
Heidi: *with a scared look on her face* "What did she say?"
Kevin: "Well she said that you liked someone and you are really jealous of their girlfriend. I just wanted to talk to you about it."
Heidi: "Oh, so I guess you know then."
Kevin: "Yeah but I won't say anything to anyone, especially Joe."
Heidi: "Wait, why especially Joe?" *she says with a confused look on her face*
Kevin: "Because you don't want him to know that you like him and that you are jealous of Kayla."
Heidi: *she hesitates* "Oh, yeah, yeah you can't tell Joe that I like him, right."
*Kevin walks out of the room and Heidi is so relieved that Kevin doesn't know that she likes him. But she is confused about why Heidi would tell Kevin that she liked Joe. She starts to run down stairs because she wants to tell Joe what happened and talk to Laila.*
Laila: "Oh hey Heidi." *She says as Heidi walks through the door*
Heidi: "Hey. Laila, we need to talk."
Laila: "Right now." *She says in a sweet tone*
Heidi: "Yes!" they both walk into the other room "Why did you tell Kevin that I liked Joe and was jealous of Kayla?"
Laila: *with a confused look on her face* "What are you talking about, I never said that?"
Heidi: "Then, why did Kevin tell me that you did?"
Laila: "I don’t know, he says the weirdest things sometimes."
Heidi: "Are you sure Laila, cause I’m really confused."
Laila: "Yeah, absolutely." *They both walk back into the kitchen*
Nick: "Let's go, already!"
Joe: "I call shot gun!" *he starts running to the door and everyone else follows*
Heidi: "Wait Joe!"
Joe: *He stops and turns around* "Yeah, Heidi what's up?"
Heidi: "You will never guess what just happened."
Joe: "Heidi, what did I tell you before, you don't need to tell me when you lady problems come to visit."
Heidi: *she laughs* "No, Joe it's not that. Kevin told me that Laila told him that I liked you and I was jealous of Kayla. But when I asked Laila about it she said that she never said that to Kevin. I am so confused."
Joe: "What? You like me I thought you liked Kevin?"
Heidi: "No I do like Kevin, not you, but Laila told Kevin that I liked you and she is denying it."
Joe: "What's her problem, she always has to be the center of attention."
Heidi: "But, when Kevin asked me, I froze up and said yeah I liked you."
Joe: "Well at least he knows that you don't like him."
Heidi: "Yeah that's good, I guess."
*Kevin walks through the door*
Kevin: "Hey! What are you two doing in here; we are all waiting for you!."
Heidi: "No Kevin, it's not what you think!."
Kevin: "Maybe it's exactly what I think; you know Laila warned me about this. Joe, go in the car your GIRLFRIEND is waiting for you."
Kevin: "Joe please leave I need to talk to Heidi! NOW!"
