Are wind farms a risk to birds? Dr Mark Avery, Director of Conservation at the RSPB explains that correctly sited, wind farms pose no risk to birds, and talks us through the steps a developer needs to take to ensure that the wind farm will not disrupt bird habitats. Michael Grubb, chief economist at the Carbon Trust explains that the financial support availiable for wind differs from a subsidy.   • In Denmark , Kestrels were begining to build nests on top of the Nacels ........so now Wind Turbines are produced with special fittings for nesting platforms !..........There has never been problems with birds, which in any case can out manouvre a blade.
