After its final season, the show which was widely popular in Asia is now set to hit Europe, including in Bulgaria and Romania.
As it can be seen in this case, with the growing international popularity of Korean dramas, other content types are expected to join the Korean wave, Hallyu.
KOTRA hosted an event to seek ways to help local makers of game, animation, characters and other contents to advance into the overseas markets.

It used to be TV dramas that fueled the Korean wave last year, but this year, the Korean wave is hitting a wider region and the contents are becoming more diverse with K-pop, gaming and characters.
This year in particular, in line with the booming global 3D industry, several contracts were signed to produce and distribute 3D content.
During the event, Digitrove in the United States and Ace Adworks of South Korea agreed to jointly produce "SHOW" a 3D animation program.
The deal means that South Korea's 3D technology and the U.S. company with a strong pool of contents joined hands.
World-renowned production companies have showed great interests in South Korea's musicals, animations and other contents, adding that they highly regard Korean content.

~Personally I'm a huge fan of the Korean content and Korean entertainment in general. I think it's one of the most progressive markets in the world and I think some of the greatest advances in technology, especially in terms of the 3D technology has advanced greatly.
The TV cartoon 'Yoohoo and Friends' signed a $5 million export deal to Belgium, demonstrating the Korean Wave in South Korea.
More than 174 local companies from TV content, pop music and characters, attended the event, reflecting a huge interest in overseas businesses.
The Korean Wave, or Hallyu, is further progressing in the world, with its diverse and outstanding cultural content.

You are very right :) It hit Bulgaria already long time ago. We hope seeing a lot more dramas on the national TV stations here and also expecting our first Korean star visitors ;)
