On July 27, 2011, Norfolk Botanical Garden said 'Goodbye' to the three baby eaglets, now grown, who took up residence in a loblolly pine tree in the Garden this past spring.
The release was held at Berkley Plantation in Charles City, VA. This is our tribute to them and thanks to all who have supported the Garden & came to see the eagles one last time.

I just bawled like a baby watching this. You'd think my own child was flying away. Much appreciation to all who were instrumental in making this day happen. I know Mama Eagle is proud as can be.
