  • Your tone is RIGHT ON. That's not a credit to the harmonyman but to your playing. May I ask what else was in the signal path? What's your axe? What type of fuzz are you using? What are you using for an amp? - in case any of that has to do with being so close to the original sound. Great job.

  • @InsertName125 - Thanks! It's a pretty simple signal path - Parker Nitefly into a home-built Rat clone, through the HarmonyMan, then straight into the mixer (no amp).

  • I was wondering how should I do if for example I wanna connect the harmony man with a delay and a reverb pedal all in the fx loop. Do I still have to connect the output of the guitar to the input of the harmony man or can I put the guitar on the fx that are in the chain that goes to the input of the amp? I'm a little bit confused :)

  • @Dedalusalley - I wouldn't recommend putting delay/reverb in the HM's effects loop, instead, put them after the HM. The only reason for the loop is so that you can put a distortion pedal in there and get harmonized distorted guitar. (It would sound completely different if you put the distortion AFTER the HarmonyMan).

  • So, is the pedal picking up the sound from that piano track?

  • No, for this song I used two fixed keys, so the HarmonyMan didn't need to hear the KB. I did a couple of other songs (eg. see the Country Rock one) where the HarmonyMan responded to the chords played by another guitar.

  • @MERMAN42 Maybe it's the Rat. The distortion sounds very authentic.

    Anyway, BEAUTIFUL JOB!!!

  • One word..... Awesome! Im getting one of these this week. After hearing your solo I can't wait to experiment... great video man

  • Yes, there's 2 presets - you can see me switching them at 1:34.

  • Merman, thanks for the settings. How can you run two keys F and Bb at once or are you switching between presets?
