Dyno run with my K6 GSXR 1000. Full Yoshimura exhaust (TRC-TRS hybrid), minor head work, cams, thin gasket etc. Thanks to the WMRC and Graham from Valley Pro for the dyno time. It put down 172 hp on this pull.
You have to be very carefull when looking at dyno numbers. Each dyno will give you a different rating. Some operators add 10%, others add 15% while some add none. For example, on this day a race Ducati 1098 with full Akrapovic exhaust made 150hp a short time before my bike. On the dyno where my bike was tuned, it made 152hp stock and 182hp after all the mods. That is what is really important, look at the before and after. I picked up 30hp with all the mods. Try to get a custom tune as well.
i have the same bike...yoshi is claiming over 171 hp with just the full exhaust on their website.. i guess the only way for me to find out is to spend mad amounts of money and time for 10 hp...
