I seriously hope that Romania can become a respectful member of the international community rather than a bunch of fucking thieves who go to western Europe to beg and steal no offence intended i don´t wanna put everyone in the same bag.

It was a must their execution,but it shouldnt happen in christmas day... I was living in Romani all those years...well nobody knows better than us romanians in what bad conditions we were living,and how much bad ceausescu did to us...they deserved to die...but it was barbarian to kill them in christmas day and in that way how they was executed...We showed that we are not better than they was....

She was actually the 2nd in command, so not exactly powerless.

In any case, they were executed because the country was in a state of chaos as long as they were alive. Obviously their trial was in no way democratic, but they simply needed to die to calm the spirits.

People all over the country were dying each day because of fanatics of the old regime, and even though the army was not on the dictator's side, some officers were.
