@Sunshyne276 It sounds to me like it is a term he is using for the flour "on the side', not in the actual recipe, but the flour he uses on the table to roll the dough out onto .(I think)

@blueovaltrucks Sorry, I hadn't seen this post. Yes, @Sunshyne276 is correct. Bench flour is just flour you have on the "bench" or next to where you are rolling. Sorry for the confusion, I forget that terms we use in the kitchen are not always common knowledge.
