look how his arms are shaking.i believe the point of this exercise is to work the stabilizing muscles in his arms.these muscles are very important to work on but are almost always overlooked.

Hehehe ... toy pistols ... too funny. Guess he could have used rubber dildoes so we should be happy he went with guns. On a serious note, this is just a variation of what some call "knife fighter" push-ups only you use small wooden dowels to do them. The dowels are easy to transport ... and look a bit more serious than plastic toy guns.
