Ever since I've been evaluating my form in lifting I've realised all sorts of inflexibilities I would never have found otherwise, my hips (or lower body in general!) being something crucial to proper lifting that I need to work on. Thanks for this vid, ever since I tried it I've loved the pigeon pose and this helped me perfect it. Cheers

I am a dancer and could easily do the hip opener stretch; however, whatever muscle the pigeon pose stretches is super tight on me. I would love to know what this means. I do know I have very tight hip flexors. I feel like my lack of flexibility in these muscles has been hindering my dancing. Hopefully you can get back to me! Thanks!

this pose stretches alot of areas.. if you hip flexors are tight you will have a harder time getting deep into some parts of this, but it will stretch the hip flexors as well..
