Video montage of the Nationwide Kiss-In held in San Francisco on August 15, 2009, set to the original song "United We Love (2009)". Many couples came to Union Square at 11am on Saturday morning and kissed each other in public to protest the arrests and prosecution of a gay couple that was being affectionate on a Mormon plaza in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Song: "United We Love" by Sean Chapin, written days after the passage of Prop 8 in California.

  • This is cute, but straight couples should have also been included.

  • @freakylocz14, they were welcome, and unfortunately none showed up. There were straight couples at other kiss-ins on this same day.

  • @all4him101, I find it unnecessary to get your point across by shouting with all caps. Second, the God that many of us believe in loves and embraces all people, gay and straight, and being gay is another form of love. Homosexuality is not a moral - it's a sexual orientation like heterosexuality found in virtually all species on our planet, and I am sure that the vast majority of species if not all (except humans) understand the concept of good and evil.

  • @all4him101, rather, morals are about virtues such as love, honesty, trust, generosity, compassion and kindness, as well as less desired virtues such as prejudice, ignorance and hatred. It doesn't matter if you're gay or straight, but it does matter if you love or hate, and I think you would be better off focusing on people's choice to love or hate, not on immutable traits like height, eye color or sexual orientation. Honestly, I found your comment to be incendiary bordering on obnoxious.

  • being gay is not for me but seriously, how can you hate on that, look at how happy these people are.

  • You are the one who need to get over because we have been here through history and we will still be here. We will love and live even if that make your life miserable.

  • @all4him101 i feel sorry for you

  • Argue about God's judgment and provide specific scripture in the Bible to justify why someone would end up in hell rather than with Jesus. In the end, He has the final say. He is the Judge and until you know without a doubt exactly what He would do, then stand down.

  • Lovely :)

  • @all4him101 How sad is it that you would rather choose a God that sends children to hell over true love?

  • @all4him101 john there is nothing wrong with 2 men kissing or 2 women kissing or a man and a women kissing how can you condem people you dont know? i cant see god condeming a person for a weekness i tell you john i have some deep wounds in my life being beaten by my dad every day from the time i was 5 till i was 15 my dad was pure evil and he is in hell i lived in a living hell in my life god saw my life if he is a all loving god he saw what i went trew he wood not condem me 4 being gay
