All those theories has been created by their "historians" and "academics"!

I know their claims because I debate (fight) with them the last 20 years.

Well,believe it or not,yes they claim that a "Macedonian" was the first European who found America in 1492 and not the C.Columbo!His name as they claim was Ivan from the Ohrid.

Also they claim that the Adam and Eve were ..."Macedonians" i.e. they were slavs!!!

The most funny with them is that they believe all these theories and the most tragic is they learn all these nonsense at the schools!!!

To answer your question about Sweden according the fyromian "academic" Petar Popovski,Scandinavians come from them!He claim that a some ancient tribe,"Macedonian" tribe (that's mean slavic),which called Venets or Benets and which lived in Troia,after destroy of Troia by Greeks emigrated to Italy and Venice named by them!-->

No,I'm not kidding!Everything what I said is truth!

In your question if they're so uneducated,I suppose the best answer is the article from their newspaper "Utrinski Vesnik",where is written that, on the world the largest number of illiterates in proportion to the total population is in fyrom or according to a last year's poll, the 60-65% of these slavs believe that,they're DIRECT descendants of the Great Alexander.
