My Old Unit- SLough 153. I was there from 1995-1999. Had C/O Senft. I dont think he liked all the asians at the UNit LOL. Good Times. Wish i could have done more flying. Funny how i never got selected for the scholarships but the ones who didnt turn up did.

im in the air cadets, been there just over 5 years now and im a flight sergeant. i really didnt think i would enjoy cadets because i didnt want to go into the forces or anything. after 5 years i still love it. so many different things to do. theres no obligation to join and stay. u can come down and have a looky and see if its the right sort of thing for u. its a great experience. also its good on job applications as it shows u have discipline and can follow orders. :)

yea you do.
.22, L98, L81 are the three main ones...although there are lots opportunities to shoot other rifles.

im not sure on whether to join air cadets or not, it looks like great fun but im not serious on going into the army or air force or anything.

you dont have to join the forces...the cadets, sure are sponsored by the forces but they aren't a recruitment team....there is no commitment to join....you are there to have fun and do things you wouldn't normally do...by the end of it if you do decide to join then you already have a bit of experience that may or may not be relevant.
