So if you oppose a war or torture or speak out on an actual war crime that happened your against the troops, what disgusting Nazi logic. Herman Goering said that a key step in manipulating the people into accepting a war is denouncing the opposition as unpatriotic.
I wonder how many dems and republicans were involved in the counter culture of the 1960s that didnt target the leaders of the country for the fucked up war but instead those who were only oeying the law and did not have any choice in the matter but still didnt puss outt. I know one thing about my generation, we do not resort to retarded tactics that target those brave indiviuals that make up the brunt of the US miltary and NATO forces, bc we all have 2 23rd chromosomes
Notice the average chickenhawk. He lives in constant thirst of blood, likely not brave enough to really seek it, but always brave enough to incite genocide behind the safety of his computer.
He knows nothing of the implications of nuclear war but calls for it. He uses an isolated attack as an excuse to massacre millions of innocent people, 99.99% of which have nothing to do with any attacks.
For other examples, see: Dick Cheney, Rush Limbaugh, Dan Quayle
On the other hand, Durbin tried to point out the moral issues in torture. For that, he's attacking the troops? Troops do not do the torture, in case you haven't noticed. CIA operatives are the ones who do the interrogations.
The Republicans would happily enable such crimes as the German public did in WWII. Attacking the state for them is unpatriotic, attacks the soldiers, and deserves persecution.
I think neither Republicans nor Democrats really care about the troops, they just use the troops because its damn good politics. How can you not vote for the person who "supports the troops?"
first i gotta say, this video was edited very well. how a few speeches are broken into pieces around nancy peloski saying "of course we support our troops." very strong. very very strong.
just because WE ARE losing these wars (and if you disagree, ask yourself, are we winning?) doesn't mean we don't support our troops. of course we do. We don't want them over there in harms way, and most of them don't want anything more than to come home. but war time=money time. welcome to Neo-America.

@beesleeper WRONG, YOU LIE!
Clinton locked pay increases for soldiers at 2-3% for his 8 year term. The inflation rate was HIGHER than that!.
when Bush#2 entered office, pay was drastically increased between 18-24% within the first 24 months.
I also request a list of the benefits and programs that were cut or adjusted. Not just some boogey-man list.

Kerry was a complete asshole in what he said.
