That noise is normal for letting off the throttle, now if it is doing it on acceleration u got problems
i do hear the miss tho

@weeman516 yea i can see your point on that. not saying you dont know what your talkin about just putting my two cents in. although not doubting you but i know for sure i have a leaking injector and mine doesnt do it every time. but a good cleaning will always help. i know my turbo is pitted but until i can afford a powermax im just goona drive like i normally do. but the 6.0 isnt a pos if you stud it and delete the egr if you ask me. the only other weak point after that is the injectors.

Nothing wrong with that. If you pushing lots of boost and rpm's then the shaft might suffer, you can do this all day long and nothing would happen.

@weeman516 Well I can't here an issue with injectors but I'm sure hearing it in person would sound otherwise. The issue with the turbo is your call, as I said building boost like that and then letting of the throttle (powerbraking or driving WOT) will make that sound, tons of videos on here of 6.0's doing that so the truck doing that is not a problem, doing that on purpose multiple times to make that sound can create problems. Just telling it how it is, good luck with injectors if in needing

Although i do agree 6.0s arnt great engins, theres nothing wrong with that turbo.
You are obviously power braking (no 6.0 builds boost like that without taking off and the RPMs getting higher) which you then let off the throttle which the turbo surges from 20lbs of boost to no throttle/use so it makes the "chirping" noise. Bitching about that is like buying new tires for a Cobra, racing stop light to stop light and wondering why your tires a wearing away.

@bigdaveCP yeah no shit i am power braking i am not gonna tape it while i am driving and for all you who think that is normal dont understand how a variable vane turbo charger works yes it does get rid of a waste gate because that is what the vaines are supposed to do for it that sound is the compressor wheel stopping and starting puts huge amounts of stress on the shaft and the reason it does it is because they put a new turbo on that truck but didnt fix the problem

@weeman516 hate to burst your bubble on the whole thing but you can ask almost any 6.0 driver and they can say that their truck has done it before and i know mine will do it atleast once a day being that i have a programmer and stuff. i know exactly how a VGT works and personally dont like them but i have no choice on these trucks. if you want a good turbo that doesnt have all the problems get a powermax from garrett its the same kinda turbo but they built it ten times better

@3118ross you missing the point of the video i undeeerstand that all 6.0s will do it eventually they are a dirty engine what you are missing here is it does it all the time casual driving all that the vains are literally stuck on a turbo less than 2 months old and it started it less than a month old what i am getting at is my truck is over fueling because of a leaky injector/s it has plugged up the turbo again

@bigdaveCP my truck is over fueling and carboning upthe vanes not allowing them to move freely and fast enough to compensate for changing boost demands the turbo needs to be cleaned and planed and then it will stop the chirping sound but it doesnt change the fact that the truck has a leaky injector or two i am not bitching about it making the noise i a bitching about what a pile of shit the 6.0 is i do this shit for a living i am not some kid just bitching about a noise

@bigdaveCP if you listen close you can also hear the miss it has aroun 1900 rpm also because of the injector problems
