and why do you care so much? jazz snub. music is music. it transcends age, gender, genre, tastes, race, religion, species (snubs and non snubs), etc. you get the idea. i get your points, and in fact i even agree to them. but the way you say all of your valid points only shows one thing about you Loud and Clear: SNUB. Gotta chill and give ppl a break sometimes man. They probably just don't have enough exposure to know what sounds nice and what doesn't. And probably just insufficient practice.

I think wohodude is being too harsh however I will agree that jazz is about playing "cool" not looking cool and between the pianist and guitar its obvious you are not following this rule.

However keep it up, and don't attempt tunes that are way out of your league and follow changes...

judgement with our eyes and not use our ears and common sense. Anyone who just listens to this knows the painfully obvious fact that this band is pathetic (in fact at 3:35 the band not only completely trainwrecks the tune, but they can't even come back until they recount it off twice), but instead of using our ears, then you guys go like "Oh but look, theyre just kids", or you could substitute kids with girls, amateurs, retarded ppl, etc, but that still doesn't change the quality of the music

Yes of course, you're absolutely right that you have to start out somewhere, but still, that doesn't make the music sound any better, if a beginner picked up a trumpet and cracked a high Bb doesn't matter if its the first time, it still sounds like shit. And you're right that they could become professionals later, but it still doesn't change the fact that this band sounds terrible. This is music, we need to use our EARS and not our eyes, stop judging people on their looks and stop giving(cont)

You have to start somewhere right? So what if they aren't professional level? Doesn't mean they can't get there someday. The fact that they're playing and are interested in jazz says a lot about them. I think you could stand to be a little more supportive, that's just my opinion though.

These kids suck. And for all the the dumbasses going like HEY MAN THEYRE JUST KIDS first off music doesnt give a fuck how old you are, if you play shitty music then the music is shitty no matter how old you are. And second, there are kids out there younger than the band in this video who can play a lot better than this pathetic band
