It's Borderland - If you stay on the trails, they all take you out somewhere - Either a main road or back out to one of the entrances. If you're going to smoke there, you need to find yourself at the top of a big boulder and set yourself down. DON't wonder around. Sorry you had to learn the hard way.

This has happened to me, too. I followed a trail and eventually found someone with a compass. I still carry a compass in my purse JIC!
