'D.C. Sniper' To Be Executed

Nearly seven years after John Allen Muhammad and his teenaged partner Lee Boyd Malvo went on a shooting rampage in the D.C. area, Bob Orr reports that Muhammad was on track to be put to death.

This guy named Nidal on the other hand might fit what you're talking about. If the final FBI report on him suggests that he was frustrated with the current wars and contacted foreign extremists which culminated to his actions then he's definitely a traitor.

If the report suggests that Nidal didn't really have any contact with terrorists and that he was a sexually frustrated loner who used the current wars as an excuse to lash out and cause harm then......

That kid was brainwashed and used. Considering that he let the kid do most of the killings suggest that John didn't want to be traced. That kid was looking for a father figure and John took advantage of that. Most reporters that met John in prison recalled that this man was a control freak and manipulative.

You make it sound like he was fighting America, an act of treason. Sure he might have used his military training for the wrong reason but his objectives were to get his kids, not politics.

Your story sounds plausible except for the fact that he had an accomplice that had no relation to MUHAMMAD'S family issues.

His killings weren't related to religion but rather to gaining his children from his ex-wife. He came up with a sick and twisted plan in gaining access to his kids. He thought that he can kill people randomly and then include his ex-wife so no one would suspect him. I don't know what war you're talking about but this was an internal problem.
