Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 5 - Bowser Jr.'s Boom Bunker - Boomsday Machine Daredevil Run - Prankster Comet (with post commentary)

In this video we head back to Bowser Jr.'s place in World 5 to do the Prankster Comet mission.

This Daredevil Run is split into two parts and has a midway flag, thankfully! You must first guide the Bullet Bill into the dome as you did before. Use the cannon to reach the next area. The Boomerang Bros. can be eliminated by carefully avoiding their boomerangs.

The next launch star takes you to another cannon. The moving target can be hit by aiming a bit ahead of it as it moves to one side. The platform that takes you over the purple poison water will lift you above danger if you run back and forth between the ends as it bobs around.

Use the Cloud Flower to reach the launch star to get to the boss. The Boomsday Machine isn't any different this time around. Avoiding getting hit is a more of a matter of constantly moving than anything else. Keep your clouds replenished and watch out for the electric shield! ~~Boss: Bowser Jr.~~
For the first round, run for one of the updrafts, spin to create cloud and ride it to the Cloud Flower refill. From here you can long-jump to the top of the Boomsday Machine with the help of a few cloud platforms. Once you reach the top of the tower, ground-pound the glass. You'll need to do this two more times to defeat Jr.

The second round is much like the first, but now the tower will attempt to vacuum the area, pulling the clouds out from under your feet. You also need to watch out for an electric shield that covers Jr.'s dome periodically.

In the final round, the tower goes mobile. This makes your climb to the top more difficult, since Jr.'s dome is much higher up, but the moving tank doesn't present that much more of a threat. Once you reach the top of an updraft, you need to use the Cloud Flower refill to get to an even higher cloud tier. From here you can long jump to the dome using cloud platforms. Ground-pound the glass dome a third time to take Jr. out, and collect your Star!
