Talk about hypocrisy. This is the same Barney Frank was allowed an aide of his to run an underage gay prostitution ring from his D.C. home in the late 80s. When he was confronted with the situation he threatened to start naming names of homosexual politicians and who knows what other kinds of corruption. This film seems to have a naive agenda or get off on Repub. bashing, when both sides are equally filthy and corrupt.

Uh, these allegations were firmly rejected almost TWENTY YEARS AGO. He didn't blackmail anyone - you're bringing the "Frank Rule" into the mix and this had nothing to do with these false allegations. This film features Democrats too but obviously more Repubs are features because more Repubs are anti-gay and therefore more hypocritical in the context of this film.

This is a case where the politician's "social life" affects their work. Work which is extremely important to millions of Americans. Nobody complains about Eliot Spitzer being publicly shamed - and his issues had NOTHING to do with his work. Here it is entirely relevant.

For me it makes complete sence that these outed politicians come from the far right. A confident straight person wouldn't feel threatened by gay people. A guy I once knew from school who was horrible to me. Called me a faggot many times. I discovered his Facebook profile resently, I found out he is in a relationship with a guy. It made my day!!! I made friends on Facebook with him. It healed an emotional wound I didn't realise I had until it was gone.

This is a good movie that everyone should see. It goes after closeted politicians who are actively working to defeat gay rights. What hypocrisy!

Two other similar movies that are very good are "Out In The Silence," about a young man's taking on his school over gay bullying and "For The Bible Tells Me So," about Christian families who love and accept their gay children.
