This three part documentary covers an aspect of American experience, which is not only painful but is also unique to United States. This is a story about immigrant women who face domestic violence in US and the kind of help which is available to them under US legal and immigration system.
In this part of the documentary, we are recognizing the bravery and resolve of one such immigrant woman Rati Sud who came here after getting married to a doctor from India, faced abuse and torture but showed tremendous courage in leaving the abusive relationship and looked out for help.
This story unfolds her emotional struggle while in an abusive relationship, the fight she puts up against all odds and how well she is doing now. Rati got her green card last year in 2010 after a long legal battle. (INT)

Furthermore, marriages between American men and foreign women have the lowest rates of any violence and rarely end in divorce (10% to 20%). Only 4 women of such marriages have been killed by their husbands in over 30 years, out of hundreds of thousands of such marriages. IMBRA/VAWA is a fraud, just like this liar and all the feminazis.
