  • This is a typical Prairie winter in Canada. I've driven in this lots. It's just an inconvenience.

  • coming from oz many years ago, it sure beats 40 c in the summer in oz

  • I live in a small town about an hour from Calgary and prairie winters are the coldest in southern Canada the wind and cold makes it extremely cold for most people i kinda like it just becausei have grown up here! eastern B.C. is like Canada's Mexico it very rarely gets snow and is warm there perhaps try going there in winter next time if you dont liek it on the prairie

  • Nice, thanks for the ride.

  • Oh, and I suggest growing a beard in the winter, if you can. I always do because I find it helps insulate and helps eliminate the biting cold sensation that comes from cold wind wiping across shaven skin. Plus, it's always fun to feel the ice build up around your mouth.

  • Man, I haven't laughed so hard in a while! While watching your earlier videos, I thought, "He'll learn." And you have! You're starting to sound truly Canadian! You even referred to Tim Horton's as Timmy's. I'd vouch for your citizenship on that alone!

Trust me, live here for a few years and you'll get used to it. We're not insane; we just don't know any different!

There's a joke about Canadians in winter: When hell freezes over, Canadians begin asking each other, "Cold enough for you?"

  • damn man thats waaaaaay to cold for me. i dont mind the cooler weather but thats insane. was thinking i mihgt like to come over to america and try some driving but i dont think im gonna be getting too close to canada in the winter. excellent vid as always! stay safe and come back to oz troy.

  • Yer i got the same questions when i was over there in Canada; its not easy. Monitor yourself . you need to get back in one piece if you have to. Now summer isn't that far away, its the best time of the year, the place springs to life!. All the very best to you.

  • You should of came out to B.C friend. I think you choose the worse place in Canada to live/work. No offence to anyone in Saskatoon. I couldn't handle the cold either.

  • Another good video. I'm sure you were told what to expect before you came here. Maybe you can get a trip to the west coast. You would probably think that living on the west coast (Victoria, BC) is the best place on earth to live. I am enjoying seeing North America through your eyes so to speak; hope you keep the videos coming. By the way, maybe one of your videos could include your trailer getting loaded. Thanks for all your videos to date.
