I still say teh "speak of teh devil" ozzy live album was better than any live footage of sabbath's-old or new-that whole album is kick ass,you can't beat Tommy Adridge on drums...

Don't feel bad about the thumbs down .. Speak of the Devil was the first "Ozzy" album I bought and I love it more than some of Black Sabbath's live albums. I think it's because it was a little harder on the guitars.. you know?

It isn't terribly difficult to play, but not a piece of cake -especially if you are out of practice. the person playing doesn't make a single mistake. The song is played cross-harp style, and there are several bends (both on the blow and the draw bends). Plus it goes into several positions. Ozzy is clearly NOT doing any thing-and he is hiding this fact with a hand-hold only useful for someone hiding the deception.

Speak of the Devil was Ozzy's live album that he recorded in September 1982. He played The Wizard on this and told the crowd he hadn't played in live since 1972. I would bet he didn't play it again - nor did any Black Sabbath line-up either. Therefore, this '05 performance is very cool, and sounded great. I think Ozzy did actually play the harmonica. It's not like it's so difficult. They probably rehearsed heavily to play this, too.

Ever see him play since then?
He's had a LOT of brain damage since then.

No but they WILL move. Ever see him play at any other time?
It isn't a difficult tune, but it is pretty obvious in more than a couple spots that he isn't playing this at all.

Point taken. As far as I know, he DID play on the Black Sabbath album, there's really know evidence that suggests otherwise.

Ozzy isn't playing that harmonica.
He makes it pretty damned obvious in a couple spots.
Anyone certain he even played it on the studio version or did they get an uncredited friend?
