This is a good, detailed video on how the freeze-dried process works. I found out from a company that sells freeze-dried foods that carrots do better dehydrated rather than freeze-dried. If carrots were to be freeze-dried, they'd lose their color and most of the nutritional value and texture. Not very appealing. Do you guys agree?
