I was interested in virtual scupting tools and wanted to developp a game with the wii remote control, to simulate the gesture of the hammer on the stone.
I am going to present this work at TVU summer showcase

  • Well, since this project which was just a try on Unity I worked mainly on iPhone/iPad applications. But basically just the controls are different, once you understand them it not harder!

  • This is your fault, not the TornadoTwins. Basically follow their examples, pause the video and then look up what they have been asking you to write in the unity script reference. If you have never coded before then dont expect it to be easy, and I would also suggest you dont try and make an RPG as your first game, make pong or arkanoid. or something simple like that so you understand enough to be a bit more creative.   • @sophartnet You need a wii developer's license, which allows you to release it over WiiWare or on disks if you can get a publisher. You can get them by emailing unity.

  • @WideOpen411 it might be the way nintendo work, but I know that Playstation are really into new developpers for Ps exclusivity... Can go with unreal or cryengine but Unity offer more direct support (easier).
