@stumppi yea opposite for me, I prefer the tempo faster. Faster not necessarily means more technique nor less emotion.

I actually like this version more than Argerich, because Argerighc's own is so fast that it's not that easy to enjoy the piece... But I guess this is a pure matter of opinion (emotion vs technique etc.)

I realize more than most will know how important passion is in a performance, but where I lack technical ability my sister is a technical master....this fellow is super...some think you're not brilliant at what you do if you don't look like you're having a stroke on stage!!

He's so incisive and to-the-point that the energetic parts to seem mechanical instead of electric. For instance, from 1:30 to 1:54, those chords are incredibly staccato; they lack the drama and urgency with which Prokofiev infused them. There's no doubting his technical proficiency, but if he wants to be one of the great pianists of his generation, he'll have to do more than just play the notes accurately. If you compare this with Argerich, the difference in vitality is massive.
